My Profile

My name is Mathys, I'm 18, and I'm a student at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie in Béziers. I'm studying IUT in order to obtain my Bachelor of Technology in Networks and Telecommunications.
I'm currently looking for a work-study position for the start of the 2024 academic year in the networks sector in the Béziers/Montpellier (France) area .

Since the beginning of high school, I've been interested in networks and cybersecurity. This is reflected the quality and investment I put into my projects, which you'll be able to realize as you're reading on.

Projets

During this first year of study, I'm working on a number of projects. Projects supervised by our teachers at the Béziers IUT, or personal projects that I carry out at home.

Skills

  • Linux

    I use Linux on a daily basis for my studies and leisure activities.
    In particular, I own several servers, which I use to host my websites and my network services.

  • Docker

    Great interest in Docker and its key components.
    I had a lot of fun deploying a nginx reverse proxy for my Nextcloud and websites. By the way, this portfolio is hosted on it!

  • Networks

    Installation of a WireGuard VPN and an OpenVPN VPN to provide redundancy in the event of a service failure.
    On my private network, as well as on my VPNs, I've set up a local DNS running under Pi-Hole, which takes its DNS from my Knot Resolver.

  • Programming

    I have knowledge of Python thanks to my personal projects and studies.
    I have knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript as well as SQL.
